STILL asks for very little of your attention — and even less of your data. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can ask us to access, correct, or delete it.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to thisisstill.art and to any forms, emails, or newsletters operated under the STILL name.
STILL is currently operated as an independent editorial project based in Kyiv, Ukraine. As the project develops, a formal legal entity may be established. When that happens, this policy will be updated to include the relevant legal and contact details.
What we collect
Contact and collaboration enquiries
If you contact us through the Collaborate page or by email, we may collect your name, email address, organisation (where provided), and the content of your message.
Analytics
We use Framer Analytics together with Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site, including the number of visitors, the pages they read, and the regions from which visits originate.
Framer Analytics is cookie-free and provides anonymised information. STILL does not use analytics information to identify individual visitors.
Google Analytics 4 may process technical information such as device and browser data, approximate location, pages visited, clicks and scrolling. This information is used solely to understand how the site is used and to improve the reading experience.
STILL Letters
When you subscribe to STILL Letters, we collect your email address and add it to the mailing list for the language edition you selected. By submitting the subscription form, you consent to receiving STILL Letters by email. No separate confirmation email is required.
We use MailerLite to manage subscriptions and send our emails. MailerLite may process your email address together with technical information connected with your subscription and the delivery of emails, such as the date and time of subscription, IP address, delivery status, and interactions with the emails we send.
You can withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in every email or by contacting us at privacy@thisisstill.art.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies. Necessary cookies are always active and support basic site functionality. Optional analytics cookies from Google Analytics 4 are set only if you accept them through the cookie notice.You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so should not affect your ability to browse most of the site, although some features or embedded content may not function as intended.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by selecting Cookie Settings in the footer or by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser settings.
How we use your data
We use the information described above to:
· respond to contact and collaboration enquiries;
· understand how the site is used so that we can improve it;
· send STILL Letters to you when you have chosen to subscribe, manage your subscription, and monitor the reliable delivery of our emails;
· maintain the security and reliable operation of the website.
We do not sell your personal data. STILL does not use your data for advertising, remarketing or personalised advertising of any kind.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us operate the website and communicate with our readers.
At present, these include Framer (website hosting and Framer Analytics), Google Analytics 4 (website analytics), and MailerLite (subscription management and the delivery of STILL Letters).These providers process data only to the extent necessary to provide their services and in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable law. MailerLite acts as a data processor when it handles subscriber information on our behalf.
We do not sell or disclose your personal data to advertisers.
How long we keep your data
We keep correspondence relating to contact or collaboration enquiries for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or to meet legal, administrative, or legitimate business requirements.
Subscriber information is retained for as long as you remain subscribed to STILL Letters. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we will remove it from our active mailing list. Limited information may be retained where reasonably necessary to record your unsubscribe request, comply with applicable law, or prevent emails from being sent to you again.
Analytics data is retained in accordance with the retention settings of the analytics services we use.
Your rights
Depending on where you are located and the laws that apply to you, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, ask that it be corrected, request its deletion, object to certain processing, or withdraw your consent where processing is based on consent.

We will respond within a reasonable period and, where applicable, within the time limits required by applicable law, including the GDPR where it applies.
Please note that we may retain certain information where required or permitted by law, including for legal, regulatory, security, or record-keeping purposes.
Children
STILL is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the project develops, including when new services are introduced or a formal legal entity is established.
